These pucks are thick as a Dairy Queen Blizzard. I rode the 1" version and felt nice and elevated while sliding without having the multi point velcro connection of puck risers and pucks. I have been riding these pucks for over 2 months now and have attended Ride the Gem and Giants Head with the same set of pucks. The Velcro is durable and strong, and was able to stay adhered to the puck when I rotated the puck to even out the wear. The puck only popped off the glove one time and it was reasonable. I drifted late for a corner in Oregon and slid right off the road through a bunch of rocks and sticks. The puck popped off in the rocks, I was able to grab the puck and put it back on my glove and it didnt pop off the rest of the event, and through Giants Head. They work, they didnt disappoint me, I would put them back on my gloves without Hesitation.
